5. The Eleventh Hour
Ashes to ashes
The phrase ‘the eleventh hour’ raised two questions for me; How can I represent the passage of time? How can I represent the idea of ‘before it’s too late’/‘the latest possible moment’?
I pictured an image of a clock made of matches.
The work is open to interpretation and has several possible meanings.
